Safety First
At the Hearst Center we put your child's Safety First. For more information contact the Education Coordinator, at (319) 268-5504.

Class Projects
All work must be picked up within six weeks following the last day of class. Due to tight storage space, artwork will be thrown out or recycled if possible.

Refunds

  • Please contact Gail LeFlore, Senior Services Coordinator, at (319) 268-5506 or via email if you must cancel your registration.  
  • Students requesting a refund at least seven days prior to the start of the class will be given a refund for the class fee less $5.00.
  • Students are eligible to receive a refund of 50% within six days prior to the class start date.
  • No charge is required for a participant that wishes to transfer to another available program or session when the request is made six days prior to the original start date.

Register Early
Please register for classes early. Class sizes are limited and can fill up fast. If the class you want is already full please ask to be put on a waiting list.
