Major Areas of Responsibility
The Community Services Division has three (3) primary areas of responsibility consisting of:
- Economic Development
- Community Development Block Grant
- Assisted Housing Programs
What We Do
- Assemble land and financial packages working with federal, state and local resources with the intent of retaining and creating new jobs and businesses in Cedar Falls.
- As a federally designated Entitlement City, annual Block Grant funding is received and disbursed throughout the community for eligible activities.
- Administers the City-wide Assisted Housing programs aimed at providing decent, safe and sanitary housing for all Cedar Falls citizens.
