Residents are invited to attend Iowa Flood Awareness presentations by the DNR's floodplain management team, the National Weather Service, the National Flood Insurance Program and local government officials. The presentations will take place at 6pm, Tuesday May 22nd, in the council chambers at City Hall. Following the presentations, a panel made up of the presenters and other flood experts from national, state and local governments, including representatives from the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, will be available to answer questions.
