Committee of the Whole Meetings
Committee of the Whole meetings are open to the public and normally take place prior to a regular scheduled council meeting. These meetings provide an opportunity for communication between staff, City Council, and the public at an early stage of policy development and to obtain an enhanced level of preparedness on matters of a technical nature affecting public policy.
Although committee meeting times vary depending on the agenda items, committee meeting times are posted on the committee agendas.
Because these meetings normally take place prior to a regular scheduled council meeting notifications are grouped with the City Council Agenda notifications. Administration Committee Meetings
The Administration Committee only meets as needed and is usually related to personnel issues. The Administration Committee is made up of all seven council members. One of the council members acts as the chair of the committee as appointed by the Mayor.
Committee dates and times vary, but are posted on the committee agendas.
