The City Council follows an agenda which is finalized the Wednesday preceding the council meeting. If you would like to be notified when the agenda is posted, please register on the City's Notify Me page.
Anyone from the public may request to have an item placed on the agenda by filing such request in writing with the mayor prior to 5:00 P.M. on the Monday one week prior to the regular council meeting. The mayor may either grant the request by placing it on the next agenda or deny the request for stated reasons, conveyed to the requester. Anyone may utilize the Public Forum portion of the meeting agenda to raise any issue not on the formal agenda, which issue shall then be governed by the rules set forth in Part 10 of these rules. The request shall then be processed in accordance with Rule 16 of the adopted City Council Meeting Procedures.
The agenda is compiled by the City Clerk. A copy of the agenda is made available to those attending the meeting.
